 We are starting to get in the swing of exploring the city! and it's fun... 

They gained some skills in art making and collage...and had a cool workshop activity with a local artist!

The lightening birds discovered north Americas only comic book store for kids, and they did it with style... it was pretty cool!  A few have been working on their own comics, with the hope of giving it to Andrew (comic dude) to keep in the shop!

This week is full with music making with Kat and Maria, Olympic fun and the smells of fall.

Avocadoes?

Covered in nutritious vit. D and chocolate! – What more could you ask for? The lightening birds did an awesome job, mixing, measuring, messing and tasting…

The chocolate moose of rabbits and gods:

Ingredients: 1 avo,  1 cup of coco, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of coconut & wee bit of water!

Of course the one cup of coco and one cup of sugar changes depending on who is doing the pouring!

old man, meet big fat chicken

The lightening birds are making up stories left, right and up!

They made some Japanese opera masks this week, and today created personalities of grumpy old men, Awkward "weirdos", muscle warriors and big fat chickens.
